Does bing and google still expose unique URLs where they are running updates and tests like they did in the past?

Example: www2.google.com or even specific IPs that were accessible.

welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com], mikedotokay!

while there used to be datacenter discussion threads here i don't think that has happened for 10 years or so.
if i had to guess, the Caffeine update made those moot.

The monthly update aka dance that could be followed as it propagated across data centres ended about the time of the 2003 Florida update, Google switched to small near continuous updates.

It sort of returned about 2012 with the monthly Panda and later infrequent Penguin updates, these too have long been part and parcel of the continuous update cycle.

Plus Google enforces a geo/tld data centre browser connection that makes specific tld query result a work around and specific data centre search query connection nontrivial.

Finally, with increased and increasing personalisation of query results there is no remaining one size fits all to chase.
