Relaunching site = SEO impact?

I had this site which I had maintained on and off until late last year. And then the domain expired.

Now I want to go back and relaunch this site with all the old content that I have - under a different domain name.

Since the content is mine, will launching on a different domain be viewed as duplicate by Google. Most of the old site is de-indexed though.

I would imagine that if the old site has been de-indexed then there wouldn't be a problem with duplicate content.

Though as it is a new domain you are essentially starting again from scratch.
