How to remove not found pages in google search result?

Let me know ideas to remove 404 pages in google search results

I checked my site information in Google. It was displayed not found(404) pages in google search result. I removed those links in my website but in Google results not yet changed. How to exclude those link from Google.

They will naturally be removed from the index over time. If you want them out sooner then you can use the URL removal tool via Google Webmaster Tools
