What's the difference between SEO writer and Freelance writer?

I'm a bit confuse right now. I did some researching but I still need a few information to convince myself.
Anyway, from what I have understood a freelance writer can also work as an SEO writer. Please help, I'm planning to study and take it as a profession. I'll gladly wait for your answers. Thanks.

Well, my take would be as follows:
An SEO is a writer who understands the requirements of SEO inside articles, so they know about using keywords and so on.
A freelance writer is a writer who works, freelance, for various places.
So a freelance writer may or may not have the knowledge to do SEO writing, and an SEO writer might work for one employer, or might freelance.
