If you think Google is pushing down organics, Yahoo! is even worse

I just did a search on Yahoo! on my 20" iMac and the results were:

- Ad block with four text ads
- Product Finder showing pictures
- Right column with seven text ads
- 1 organic listing

That's it. :-|

Was this sparse a result repeatable...
- for the same search after a period of time?
- for any other searches?

Or was it a glitch? (Glitches happen).

I couldn't get anything even close to that bad in a bunch of tries.

For an easy one, try searching for the word "organic" ;)

My monitor is physically bigger but must be set to a lower resolution, because I didn't see any organic results without scrolling down.

Hm. Never noticed g###'s weeny little "Why this ad?" popup before. Oh, wait, of course I didn't. Normally I have the ad blocker on; I turned it off for testing. Oops.

Remedy: Take two www.yandex.com and call me in the morning.
