Using same shopping cart (buying) pages on multiple sites: SEO damage?

Does using the same buying pages for different websites affect SEO value?

Would search engines look on websites less favourable if they had lots of unique content (no duplication of content), were structured differently, and hosted on different C Class servers, but all fed through to the same shopping cart pages when somebody bought item(s)? How significant, if any, of a negative SEO value would this incur on the respective websites?

I'm getting contradictory opinions from different people.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Offhand, I can't see any value in having someone's shopping cart details indexed, so I would put a ROBOTS NOINDEX tag inside all shopping cart templates.

Good point. Thanks for that.

Any other feedback please?
