As the title suggests, I put an important page up on my site but neglected to set up the rel canonical properly (it was pointing to another page). I noticed this three days after I put the page up online, long enough to be crawled (my pages normally only take a few days to appear in the SERPS) and I corrected the error... but it seems I was too late and after weeks, the page is still not being indexed.
What measures must I take to remedy this... Is it just a wait and see?
