Hi All,

I have registered a new domain on Sept, 11th 2010. I have searched in Google with my domain name (example.com) and it is not appearing in 1st position. It is appearing in 6th position when i searched like "example.com". I have read Google guide lines and came to know it is poorly performing and penalized by Google.

I have checked my IP Address in whodotis and entered in IPblacklistcheck in whatismyipaddress and came to know it was blacklisted by Spamhaus. I have checked in way back machine and this was an existing domain from 2001 to 2007. It used unethical SEO technique keyword stuffing.

Is it really penalized by Google. What might be the issue?

Help me please

Propools,

Thanks for the response, I have Just send reconsideration request. But I want to confirm whether it is penalized or not. Is it the problem with hosting or not.

Thanks,
Newton

Yup, it was penalized and keyword stuffing is the issue and this is one of among the practice of unethical SEO. Google has rules about this and I think google rules are changing, so you better check and read google rules every now and then. Did you check your site for keyword stuffing?if not, try checking it out. =D
