I use

mass*blog*pinger.*com

desktop tool using

ping*ler*.*com

's ping services list and feeding my rss through

buzz*om.com 

to Twitter (make sure to break out of buzz*om's frames). I also use

web*master-tool*kit*.*com/*link-*extrac*tor.shtml

to extract urls from an html sitemap I have on my site.
