Can't Locate "sticky" on SEO - Site Building

Trying to locate great article - where?

I came across a "STICKY" somewhere, (not necessary in this forum) that outlined all the steps necessary to build a site from scratch that will do well. It covered step by step all the various elements and techniques to obtain good rankings and traffic.

I thought I had saved the URL but for the life of me, I can't find it! Tried searching the site but can't find it anywhere.

As I recall it was rather lengthy and written by one of the sites Gurus' - can anyone point me to the article in question?

Excellent article, thanks. There was another one that started out something like "I didn't mean to cover all this, but it just kept growing" something like that.
