ccTLD for International Traffic Website

Hello All

I am moving a .COM website with international traffic to a .IN ccTLD.

The site is of generic content which will be of interest to an international audience. My doubt is if this ccTLD change will affect the present international traffic I am receiving. Will my site start showing lesser for people outside India?

Possibly.
The critieria for domain location are:
- cctld
- ip location of hosting server
- backlink country identification

CCTLD is a major one of these.

I would suggest you look for backlinks of an international nature, and perhaps host out of India.

Thanks Leadegroot..I will have to rethink on my domain transfer plan..The international traffic is too massive to ignore..
