Adding content for SEO purposes

I have a website with a number of different products, each on a different static page. There's a product description on each but this isn't very long (though I've written everything there is to say).

I'm looking to integrate wordpress into the site to make it easier to update with new content. I want to add news relating to each product on a fairly regular basis, maybe a post every few weeks for each product.

In terms of SEO, would it be best to have a news/blog section on the site where all the updates are added in one place (with links to the relevant products in each post), OR would it be best to add the news to each product page, almost like it's a number of different blogs?

Any thoughts?

blog is a great way to do SEO , not only creat ur own blog but also comment on others
