rankings suddenly dropped from first page

Rankings dropped from the first page to 3rd page or 5th page or even worse.

Yesterday i was ranking first page, placement 1-5 with most of my keywords

Today May 13th my rankings are found on page 3 or 5 or even worse lower than that.

I have not made changes to the pages for the past 2 months, I have not done linkbuilding and I am sure i do not have duplicate content issues.

What happened?Any ideas?

I appreciate everyone's help with this.

the answer to your question is in your question itself. you have not changed anything on the pages - it can be granted as it is not possible for every site to keep on changing its content but the second reason is that you stopped link building. though you attained comfortable rankings for your keywords but it is not permanent. it's a perpetual process. you need to keep on building links and trust because your competitors' are doing it everyday and if you stop, they will leave you behind

Start again performing link building to regain your search engine positions, while link building you’ve to maintain consistency. You should also refresh and update the on-page content at regular intervals. These things would definitely help you in stabilizing your keyword search engine positions.

This does seem to me that you have been penalised for some reason. Although you have not made a change to anything, has google become wise to the practises you have been using?

You would not go from page 1 to page 3 through your competitors gaining more links , unless you are really unlucky.

I am not sure about that How it did with you, If you post your keyword in link building, you should have know about keyword relavancy.
