Why has only my index page been indexed?

Why has only my front page been indexed? I have simple text links to several other pages...yet none of the major SE's have bothered to go beyond the index. Why is this?
Thanks

Are you talking about the website present in your profile?
Or another one?

Some SE's will only index your home page.

If you know that a certain SE should be going deeper then the first thing to do is try typing in site:yourdomain.dom and see if it has added your other pages. If it has then the possible problems are likely to be:

1. Same title tag on every page
2. Same first line of text on every page
3. The way your links have been designed prevent the SE from going deeper

I don't know if your site is new or not but deep crawls don't happen very often.

Simon.

Well, it's not the site in my profile...It's another. And yes...I have the same title on every page which I'll change today. The links are just standard text links. I'm referring to Google which, at least, picked up my new site in 3 days after I put into my profile from another forum.
Thanks
