Hi, I have 2 domain names, one with .com and one with .co.il ending. It does not matter which one you write you will end up in the same site. The site itself is in 2 languages with the content being separated.
Please advice what is better? to leave it as is or to split the site totally one in English and one in Hebrew with cross links between them? Is there any effect on google that I have the same domains to the same sites? ( I mean the same meta tags etc..).
The .com is the site I advertise and try to promote but I notices that on some keywords the .co.il is listed higher and some times only he is listed.
Thank you for your advice

You'd do much better EITHER building two separate sites, each with unique content, titles and meta descriptions for each page, OR build all on one site and 301 from the other domain to that one.

Using two languages would probably favour two sites - especially if you seek an international audience.

Thank you for the replay. i actually have totaly separed meta tags and all because i have index.htm for Hebrew and enindex.htm for English and also the pages are in sub directory for english and for hebrew so i have ../english/profile.htm and ../hebrew/profile.htm and so on. the thing is that i intend to do in the near future also Russian pages. The reason i doing it is not because i want to export to russia or the US but because the site is for electronics company and in israel people are searching for proffesional terms both in english and hebrew, and lately also a lot Russian speaking engineers are in the industry as well. So what you would suggest now? 1) buying another domain with co.ru ans split all in 3 sites ?
Thank you for your input

If your audience is essentially local, and there may be some overlap of content ("shared" pages), then it might be better to go for the main site at .co.il - and 301 the others to it.

For a 'local' site, you want to maximise the local aspects - hosting and domain name - and you want to minimise confusion - you don't want a Russian speaker wrestling with an English site, not realising there was a Russian version!

Plus some pages could use all three languages.

Having three sites could still work; choose what's best for your target audience.
