Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how an animation (flash / shockwave) should be called from the HTML page to ensure that the search engine friendliness of the page/site is not affected.

(i.e. we wouldn't want the SE spider to stop reading the page as soon as it hits the code that calls the animation)

Interested in your opinions.

Thanks!

As long as the page that holds the call is indexable, there is NO problem with a page that calls shock/flash.

The problem arises when people use a pure flash page for a opening page and don't offer the spider, or the user an alternative.
