Paid submission is it worth it?

In the past we have used I need hits and even paid a company fot monthly hand sumbissions ...Is it worth it?
Where would our submission budget be best spent?

Sumitting is a waste of effort and money.

Use Pay per clicks, if you can afford them, but be careful; Google AdWords, I think,is the best, and has the best fraud prevention tools.

Probably if you want your website fully indexed and ranked fair, get a few links coming in to your website. Optimize and Tweak your wbsite Titles a bit and once you havesome nice PR and optimized Title, you should feel the diffence! However in some cases, paid listings help...no paid submissions.

imo the best is CPA eg. darkblue.com, commissionjunction.com etc...

but if you're the affiliate, try looking at some inktomi listings and ppc
