Hi again!

Does anyone have any ideas where could I get the list with web-ranked sites, i.e. top 10 000? I know Alexa provides something for $$$, but I wanted to ask you whether I could find something similar from the web for free?

Thanx!

How do you want them ranked? Size, traffic, income, number of flashing icons? Try the link on the Alexa homepage to Top 500, reasonably based on traffic although you can do a forum search here to find plenty of threads on the accuracy or not of Alexa's ranking methods. Try searching for http in Google for another list of big sites. There is no 'big list' - it's all dynamic, flexible and constantly changing. Also remember your goals - being in the top 10,000 for traffic is no use if you pay millions for bandwidth and generate no revenue. :)

Thanks John! Did already look at the Alexa (and know about the accuracy problems), will check google as well. I`m pretty close to the 10 000, but now we`re checking the competitors to get even higher position, because our revenues are pretty much dependent on this. But thanks again!

Hi,

that depend on the criterias which interest you.

A means of approaching some is to consult the classification of the sites indexed in google without criterion of key words...

Try this query : [google.com...]

It will give you a ranking according to PR on google, but there is no direct relation between PR et trafic, just a correlation.
