There are others, but most are yet to be proven - and if reports here are anything to go by, Adsense is still #1

If Adsense has not worked for you, first ask why, before simply trying another. No point in failing again.

How about looking into affiliate ads?

How about selling ads? Memberships? Premium content?. In my experience the only of those really making money is ads, and adsense of course :) Those other affiliate thingys never got me anything.

Before you even think of an affiliate program (at a certain point each starting entrepreneur will think about them), make sure you've read over the thread in the Affiliate Program section, named "Have you ever been disappointed of Affiliate Marketing? Tips..." (sorry, I don't remember the exact title). Exclusively helpful to, practically, everyone.
