Hi,

I got a .org domain that is about a year old. I have submitted it several times to SE's but i havent even been listed.. I have had no problems with my .com sites.. just this .org site.

Now i do not wish to give up on a year old domain, but it seems as if i can only get listed via other sites in links and such.. no direct listings:-(

Does your .org site have unique content? Does it follow the SEs guidelines?

It sounds to me like you are being penalized. Most sites get listed a few days after domain register. You don't even have to submit anymore, google will find your site if only throught the whois link.

Well the site has just about 100 pages of unique content. thats excluding links, privacy and stuff like that..

Have you tried using Google Sitemaps to see if there are any problems with crawling your site?

I wonder if your site gets some decent inbound links.

henjon, have you tried going thru this list [webmasterworld.com] yet? It was primarily developed for people who've lost rankings after first having them, but many/most of the basic things you should check for are covered in this list.
