Why does Alexa show the wrong site when you look-up another site

Example

type in....
www.magicians-corner.com

shows website...
selfart.bla-bla.com

Yeah, that's kind of Alexa magic, isn't it?

First of all, according to the WHOIS data, the domain expired:

 status: PENDINGDELETE
expires: 29-may-2003

On the 'WayBackMachine' you can see the page as it was on June 9, 2000. At that page there was already a link to the home page of the domain Alexa is now linking to. If you look a later version in the WayBackMachine you can see that at the end of 2000 there was a Meta-redirect to www.magiciansonly.co.uk but also that domain vanished (it's all magic). Starting from 2001 the meta-redirect is pointing to the domain Alexa is now linking to.
