hello guys

i will be adding a new site to search engines and was wondering how much should i tell my boss that we need in time and money.

remember i have no website built yet but would appreciate any info of what to be carefull and what not to put at all.
i do know that you can spend serouis money and get no results so i would not mind if you have any what to and what not to do when doing SE submission (PPC and Regular)

thank you

With proper “SEO + Few relevant high PR links (6-7-8) it will only take few days.

But if don’t have money to by these links or a network of sites, It will take up to six months to develop an proper inbound linking campaign.

MY new SEO website has only 2 links and is PR3 + #2 for the best of my keywords.

Decent spamming and simple optimization with some link popularity got me there in 1 month. Now I get 60 hits an hour.

I am happy

I have a business website that is 70 days old.
I have not paid for inclusion anywhere.
It is listed in google, inktomi, looksmart, dmoz, and many others. All pages of this site have been fully indexed by all the major engines.
After putting the site online, I spent 2 days sending emails to other web sites with similar interest's and politely asked them to include a link to me in their "links" pages.
THEN i submitted the site to all the various popular engines through the free sumbit links.

The site ranks # 1 and 2 for many of our targeted keywords and ranks in the top 5 for most of the rest. It is "optimized" for google algo and ranks fairly evenly in all the engines.

Good Luck and Best wishes.

Spamming is for people that are not smart enough or willing enough to find a better and friendlier way to optimize their business.

It's not easy. Tell him you need a year to get things going. You might be able to do it sooner, but there's no point in telling him that. The following thread might help you:
