Are there any old threads that explain in more detail how the new Looksmart algo reads with their new hybrid model. I recently submitted a URL and to my disbelief they listed me under a category I didn't choose and I can't find my listing under any of my relevancy keywords (naturally there's clicks that I'm paying for). Additionally to make any changes they want to charge me.

Does the Looksmart algo read mostly from the title, description, content or only relevency keywords that the marketer selects? Any advice or old threads would be greatly appreciated?

Ive had the same problem, can find no way to get good results in looksmart, even when i do well in Google with the same site.

I no longer use Looksmart for my own sites, and very rarely recommend L$ to my clients, so it has been some time since I have used L$.

I think the main parts of the algo are the Title & Description as well as category.

Title and description are main parts. Keyword density is not really that important.

Try and get your most important keyphrase in the title somewhere - e.g. 'company name - keyphrase'.
