The answer to that could be 'feed' or even better 'webfeed'. Is there any single word to describe RDF (I am not confusing those two - just looking for a single word description i.e. metadata

I'd say 'feed' as well. RDF can be used for other things, but it's usually not. It's usually just used the same as RSS.
