Syndicating Site Established Site

First of all I am new to rss. I have an establish site consisting of about

First of all I am new to rss. I have an establish site consisting of about 150 static html pages.

Let's say that each page is about travel to a different country, comparing the cost of airline tickets between a half a dozen or so reservation services.

Now, suppose the rates for each service did not change but maybe once a year, maybe less often, therefore the only updates I add in the meantime are simply adding more country pages.

Here's my question... How would I syndicate the site, since there a few updates?

I don't have a blog on the site, as I can't figure out what I'd write about on a daily basis.

From what I understand, rss syndication is done so people can keep up with updates, new articles, changes.

If updates are few and far between, do I syndicate anyway? Or is it useless?

I'm very interested in using the power of syndication. Can some please point me in the right direction?

2 ways. Either pull the stuff from a database and properly format it into an RSS feed or take a plain xml file and manually update it wheneve rthere is a change.

In some ways, an RSS feed makes a lot of sense for infrequently updated material, if you have a user who would be interested when the information changes, but is unlikely to be checking back regularly to see if there has been a change. The feed will sit unnoticed in his aggregator until there's an update

Another thing to consider would be a "country of the day" or something like that, where you're just highlighting one of the existing pages in a rotation.

Still, unless you can get your database to automatically create the feed, there's probably not a good ROI if you have to do it manually.
