Opinions of ROR files

Has many of you starting using ror files? Have you noticed better listing or increased accuracy of results. The standard seem to becoming quite popular and has been expanding.

I have used ror on my site and it does seem to be indexed but google lists it as a unrecognized file format. Do we think this will change?

Google just treats it like any other xml/rss file (it refers to them as unrecognized file formats as well).

Since Google has only recently introduced sitemaps in xml format, I think it will be a year or two before it attempts to understand ror. When it does then the spammers will find a way to destroy the format!

I hope not, I built a few engines that read them as they are compatible with rss.

Its a xml resource file that details your site layour (or products) for search engines to use

check [rorweb.com...] who invented it
