RSS Feeds on my site - Law?

I would like to put some feeds from flicker, yahoo and google on my site. Does anyone know if this is allowed?

Whether this is allowed or not depends entirely on what you intend to do with the feeds. There are countless allowed usage scenarios and countless disallowed usage scenarios. If you'd like to elaborate, then someone might be able to comment further.

basically I have a page that has some cds and cd reviews for different artists
I would like to add a flickr feed to show pictures of that artist on the page. On another page I would like to display a feed from google or yahoo that would show news on a given music style.

That sounds innocent enough. Just make certain you don't consume too much of their bandwidth (avoid the radar), provide attribution where possible. The only thing left is the non-commercial clause. Any commericial use is against all of the terms, but I've seen too many blatant disrequards of these terms, that you might consider doing it anyway.

In searching for rss feeds, I have seen a variety of ways in which the rss feeds are presented. Some do not say anything about terms of use, they just have links. Others say non-commerical, personal use only. Others say weblog use is permitted, they don't mention website use.

Can anyone share more examples, thoughts or experience on how rss feeds are used on websites while still complying with terms of use (or lack thereof). Does anyone have examples of being asked to remove rss feeds from their site and how did that go.
