Hi, I have been reading about RSS and am totally lost on how to implement them best. I have a blog under blogster and have gone to feedburner.

What I have done is copied the rss feed links in feedburner and place them on both my blogster blog and my corporate site.

My questions are...
I see some sites have the blog on their corporate site. Eg...www.xyx.com/blog.
- Is this preferred to having my blog on a site like blogster?
- How to I set up a blog on my main site like www.xyz.com/blog?
- Also how can i syndicate my blog on my corporate site?

I noticed if you search on google rss feed base on content, it doesn't show up blogs on blogster but only those with main domains.

One solution would be to use blogger.com service, and set it up to host the files on your own server. You then would give the site your ftp info and the location of the folder you want to upload to yoursite.com/blog and that should be it.

The only cost involved in this solution would ne your time and server usage.

Another option would be to install something like wordpress to do the publishing for you.

Thanks werty for your explaination. I have made the changes and it works! However my blog now looks like this: www.xyz.com/blog.html. I see some people do this instead: www.xyz.com/blog/ Does that mean it is actually www.xyx.com/blog/index.html? Is this better?

Also I noticed if you search on google's rss feed reader using 'search new content', results only show blogs from direct domains - www.xyz.com/blogs and not blogs from sites like [xyz.blogspot.com....] Is this true?

I am trying to achieve this:
www.xyz.com/blog

I don't know how I should set my publishing settings. Now it is:-
FTP Path: wwwroot/blog/
Blog Filename: index.html

Is this correct?
