Incorporate RSS Feed into Web Page for SEO Reasons

Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to take an RSS Feed, strip the actual text and place it into your web page so to the search engines it looks like fresh content?

I know how to display an RSS Feed, I don't want to do that, I want the actual text in the source code.

I want to do this becuase I don't think you get any benefit from just displaying the feed as the search engines read your code and not the actual web page.

What do you think?

Do you have the author's permission to use their content this way? A lot of times the syndication modules are set up purposely in a manner that will lessen the amount of duplicate content on the market. As a secondary source content provider it's going to hurt you more than the original source in some SEs...
