While the start of each article will dupe with some other person’s page that is using the same RSS feed source. My RSS page in its totality will be unique to any other page on the web because of it's own unique collection of RSS feeds related to Extreme Widgets.
Two questions:
Would I suffer a duplicate content penalty on such a page?
or
Will this page actually get spidered and come up in some searches related to Extreme Widgets?
I know it will be of value to my visitors, but will it help or hurt SEO wise?

As far as I know, nobody really knows what the threshhold is for duplicate content.
But being reasonable, I'd guess you could have 20-30% of your page be 'duplicate' and not get flagged. Especially if duplicate content wasn't something your site was engaging in as a rule.
This also might get offset by other factors such as number of pages in site (too many in a new site might look like program-created spam), and number of quality links in to site (establishing credibility).
