How do I load another's site RSS Feed onto MY SITE

So I have a simple HTML website and I would like my visitors to see the news from an affiliate site (which has its own RSS Feed).

I have been looking and everywhere info about RSS Feeds and it seems all people write about is how to MAKE your own RSS Feed, which I don't care for.

How do I load this other site's feed for visitors on MY site?

Check out our Library [webmasterworld.com]. There is a good thread in there that explains how you can add RSS to your site.

Thanks for your reply, but is there any other way to do this other than through PHP?. My host does not support PHP.

I read somewhere that it can also be done with Javascript...?

Sure. There are all sorts of ways to do it. A search for RSS parsers that use JavaScript [google.com] came back with quite a few hits.

A great advantage of rss is that the search engines love it,
however they can't read javascript.
If you use a programme such as carp (theres a free version) then the spiders will be able to read it.

I have found a few free javascrip RSS feed displayers online which I have gotten working. However, I would prefer to start with a very simple dispaly so I can customise it so the appearance matches the rest of my site. That is, one where I provide all the javascript files etc rather than linking to some other site that does everything for me. Is this easy to do? I checked the library for what appears to be the PHP version of what I am trying to do, but I am not familiar with PHP, only javascript. Am I trying to get myself in too deep?

Never mind, I got the php thing working. I couldn't respond to the thread in the library. If capty is still having that error, I had the same problem and fixed it. The problem was that /rssdemo was not in the root directory, so I had to change it to /news/rssdemo
