Starting an RSS feed

I want to start an RSS feed that other will syndicate. Where do I begin with this?

The most important step is to create quality content, that others will want to read.

Ya I've been having the same problems making an RSS feed on my site. I've made some stuff I want to make into a podcast but can't get a RSS feed on my site. Will anyone help me in the making process please.

Hi I am a newbie,

I too want to add RSS feeds so others can have access to my blog and podcasts. I found this site called SiteBuildItRSS. Does anyone know if it is any good. It only cost $67 but is it good info?

Does it make more sense to have my blog on my server rather than blogspot? Is it costly on the server side to set this up. I don't want to get involved in lots of expenses paying my hosting company.

Any thoughts?

Cajunman, all you need to do is to have standard FTP access which will allow blogger to act as a content management system to your site. nothing fancy to install, a really simple solution.

Most others, such as word press or moveable type require some program installation and I think a mysql database, which should be cheap, or included in your hosting package.
