IMHO a new forum at WebmasterWorld means the topic truly is important and I am glad it is here as RSS is now the
defacto standard way of syndicating content.

It has loads of versions though and with Google owned Blogger pushing the Atom format in competition to the Netscape inspired RSS, 2004 is definately going to be the year of syndication.

Syndication begs many questions though :

Will syndication trip up duplicate content filters with the search engines?

Do you care if it does as others using your content builds brand and increases readership?

Are the current crop of XML based systems right for what you want or would a more multimedia based syndication system work better, allowing you to attach pictures, movies and other media?

Will RSS increase Link pop or will the SE's just ignore it?

What licence do I give for others to use my content?

And at least a hundred more questions I have buzzing around my head at the moment.

At last we have a place at my favourite community to ask (and hopefully get answers) to them.
