MessageCast has announced that its free LiveMessage alerting service is being used by podcasters as a way to let listeners know when a podcast is released. The RSS-compatible LiveMessage locates listeners on real-time networks then sends requested alerts to the best device--cell phone, PDA, PC desktop, or email.
