Rss feed Validator error

Get error in feed validation

Hello,
I got following two errors in the steps of creating & adding of rss feed to rss reader(FeedDemon):
1. When i try to validate it through rss validator, i get error message - "Server returned (111, 'Connection refused')".
2. When i try to add the rss feed link as new chanel url in the feeddemon i got the error message - "The newfeed url could not be auto-discovered. This site may not have a newsfeed, or it may not support auto-discovery of its newfeed.".
The rss feed works fine under guru ticker rss reader, but gives problem under other rss reader.

Whether anyone have any clue regarding it.

Interesting problem, cos it shouldn't be happening if someone is trying to expose their content.

I have been using FeedDeamon since Nick released it and have not had a problem with it. I have never used the Guru Ticker.

The most obvious probable problem is that there is a problem with that feed. Are you having problems with any other feed using FeedDemon or just one specfic feed?

With the 111 connection refused it sounds like port 80 is being blocked. Try telneting to a different port.
If you can do this then it's most likely a port 80 block and you will need to contact the site to open the port up.

If you are stil having problems with FeedDemon, use their contact form. They are really good at getting back to you.
