How do I get the bots to search my content instead of my intro page?

I'm really new at this stuff, but I own the site and put in several hours a week trying to drive traffic to it.

My main url is just a cool graphic with a link to forums and products. I'd like the bots to crawl my forms, not my intro page.

I don't even understand robots.txt yet, but I will keep reading in this room until I do.

Are your forums and topics viewable by Guest? If yes, then just wait, G will crawl them eventually

They are.

I've been reading this site for about 2 hours now, and am truly overwhelmed by how much I don't know.

I did the robots.txt test and failed miserably. Wondering if that's why Google isn't doing so hot with my site.
