Microformats for when the page has no rating?

What do you use for microformats for when the page has no reviews/ratings? The vote count is 0. Using the snippet google testing tool I get this error

"Warning: votes field is 0."

How do I tell the bots, that the vote field is 0 because it has no votes yet.

Edit. Actually I'm using Microdata and not microformats

Why don't you vote for each of your own posts once? Solves 2 problems: herd mentality says people shy away from posts with all goose eggs, and that solves the tech issue you're concerned about.
