Garbled pages in Google/Bing cache

I am having major problems with my pages looking garbled in google and bing.

I have multiple e-commerce sites running off the same cart install. Its totally custom, and all the sites point to the same root directory, with the correct site template/products being pulled in based on the url.

But for some reason about 3 mos ago, my pages started looking garbled in google and bing caches.

<snip>

The pages always look good when users browse them, but look horrible in the google cache..all mixed up.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before. I think it is a server error, but my server guy says it is my cart script.

The mystery is why it only spits these random pages to search engines...and not normal web traffic.

Thanks in advance!

James

I am going to assume you do not have a cloaking script that is malfunctioning. My guess would be that it has to do with the custom ecommerce scripting. Have you double checked to make sure you are using absolute urls and not relative links?
