I have removed some links on my website using the urgent URL removal service provided within google's Webmaster Tools.
However, i have a query as to the length of the removal.

Taken from Google's page, it says "Removing pages
Content removed with this tool will be excluded from the Google index for a minimum of 90 days, regardless of whether the content becomes available to our crawler during that time. Successful SafeSearch removals will be permanently excluded from Google SafeSearch results."

The links to the pages i have removed, no longer exist on any of my web pages, although the pages do exist if you directly type the URL.

from what google says, does it mean they will re index the content after 90days, even if the pages are not linked to?

No, what it means is that if you wanted to re-index those pages by adding them in your sitemap, Google would still refuse to index them until 90 days have past.

If you try to re-index those pages after 90 days, Google will eventually take them in consideration.

Right now, although your pages exist on the web, unless someone link to some in some ways, Google crawlers will never find them, and thus won't be indexed again, not now not after 90 days.

I hope this help.

The only reason they are there was something was linking to them. Some CMS's are bad for "fluff" pages.
