Hello Dear Readers and Webmasters,

First of all, I'd like to thankyou to all being in early support. Today I'm here to dicuss some issues after applying a 301 redirect. After implementation of 301 redirect, I lost my PR (old pages), I heard somewhere that it comes back after a while, but until now even I had more than 25 days of its implemenation, no results could be seen. Tell me is that true that if we implement 301 redirect, we alternatively loss our PR. Or if not then why PR disappeared. My question is that whether in future PR will come back or not. One more question. I have changed some page titles and other metas, I want to ask you, is there any impact over search ranking. Please suggest me what should I do, according to my research only MSN showing changes in ranking after chaning the page titles, never Google or yahoo..what do you say it about?

Thanks,

Bilal

Page rank does not matter - and visible page rank (the green bar) is ALWAYS at least three months out of date.

What matters is the SERPS at the new site ... how do searches compare with the old site?

Thanks for the reply... actually I want to ask if I can change my page titles of the older pages without redirection.. is there any impact over search engine ranking.. as most of the keywords for my website placing top 10 positions...

Thanks,

Bilal

Changing your title tag CAN affect your rankings. IMO title tags typically are second in importance only to your page's incoming links in affecting rankings.
