I'm unable to force msnbot to comply with some rules using '*'.
Every other spider (google, yahoo, ask, ...) understand it, but not msnbot.

I'm trying to match:

http ://hostname/aut.php?id=268&bib=1&TN=1

with:
/*TN

I've also tried several variations with the same result.
/*TN=1
*TN
/*?*TN
*?*TN*

Note: I'm unable to filter lowercase parameters too, in case you wonder if this could be the reason.

Any idea? Is it at all possible to filter the query part of urls with msnbot?

According to this page [search.msn.com...]

MSN allows robots.txt wildcards only for file extension.
