Weird robot... Google?

I'm getting the following in my logs:

64.68.89.183 - - [10/Mar/2004:00:56:17 -0500] "GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.1" 200 5011 "-" "media-partner"

64.68.89.183 resolves to a Cable And Wireless IP, but traces first through Google's IP range. The agent name doesn't look like a Google robot but its close (Google's is "Mediapartners-Google/2.1").

Any opinions on what this really is?
