robots.txt not showing...

dear fellows..

i have uploaded my robots.txt on my root::
where u can see these directories.

stats
www

but its not showing ther..

plz help

It will need to be in the same directory as your sites index page, probably the www directory.

Thanks for the Reply... i have now uploaded the robots.txt to near the index file, but when i goto my stats, i seen that the robots.txt is even not visited 1 time!
So, why its not visited by the google?

Googlebot normally "finds" a site by following links from other sites, eventually. If you have no links from other sites that GB currently spiders, your site will be ignored.

But don't be discouraged! You can add your site to GB's list of sites to spider here [google.com]. It may take a few weeks but GB will make an appearance. Be patient! :)
