Hi everybody,

Here's a question for you. My experience using PPC's so far is that they either work great (great ROI), or they completley suck (no sales/no click-thrus - virtually). Is this how you guys find it?

Example - GoClick works awesome for my specific campaign, but Enhance Interactive sucks....

Yup, my experience would say they either suck or they perform phenomanally.

My experience is that there are three types.

1- GREAT, huge ROI
2- Bad, you know you are paying mostly for robot clicks, but doe to the fact that I can get a very small ROI, I stick with them. (enhance)
3- Horrible, no matter how much I spend, I doubt I will ever get a sale. (Xuppa).

Yes, as far as ROI - they seem to either be awesome or a money pit. But, some PPC engines can provide a good ROI, but unfortunately, not provide enough clicks to make them worth adding campaigns to.

The great thing about PPC - and I am a PPC nut! - is that you can try things out and you can monitor right down to individual keywords in terms of ROI. There are certain areas IMO where achieving a good return is very very difficult, like ringtones for example, but most other areas are pretty good if you focus on ROI. To me the big mistake is to view the overall campaign instead of the constituent search terms driving the traffic.
