Can anyone suggest any decent PPC providers or other online advertising opportunities for the Canadian market other than AdWords.

Well there a two payperclicks located in Canada. Mama.com is located in Montreal and then you have Genieknows.com in Halifax, NS. Mama.com works on a fixed price and Genieknows.com works on a bidding system. Check them out.
