PPC without bidding

The bidding makes things too complicated to manage. Are there any PPC engines out there that charge you a set fee on a per keyword basis?

Or am I missing something...

Just set a max bid and forget about it.

But to get any traffic I need to set a high max bid. I want to be able to pay a set amount per keyword and to have my ad appear in rotation with others. Anything like that?

top4clicks.com is also a fixed cost ppc system. Works out at something like a quarter of the cost of the main PPC engines and conversion is just as good. A very interesting concept as traffic comes from google

dygo.com could be what you are looking for. They are very strange, though, in how they determine who to list where.

Your best option might be Pay Per Inclusion rather than Pay Per Click.

I, too, find managing PPC laborious and time-consuming. Therefore trying to focus more on submissions to directories who charge one-off amount for lifetime listing.

Sorry, just seen this post. Pretty basic stuff really - achieve high rankings within the natural results through listings on well rated partners and you pay for the traffic on ppc basis, but the cost is flat cost per click, not bidding.
