Bizrate.com

I saw this was asked awhile ago, but I thought I'd ask again. I am considering listing our retail products on Bizrate.com. Does anyone have experience with Bizrate.com? On the surface, it seems like a relatively high exposure site with a targeted focus -- thoughts?

From what I understand, it seems like a good buy. However, make sure you are tracking your ROI by keyword / referral source, and that way you will know *for sure* if the media buy was a positive or negative investment.

Without the right kind of closed loop tracking solution, it's really about 'finding your way in the dark' and 'gut instinct'. :)

That being said, I've seen in the past some comparison type sites bidding in competition with actual retailers / etailers in the SERP's on various pay per click engines, so I would do your homework as well and make sure they won't simply be bidding next to you in one of the first teir engines.

We use dealtime, which is similar. I havn't gone to bizrate yet as the min bid was higher and I wanted to get a feel for what kind of conversion we would see from a shopping engine. Dealtime has been okay. We make money but the traffic is not very substantial. I don't know what the traffic would be like for from bizrate. If you decide to go ahead with bizrate, I would be interested in knowing about how it performs.
