My eCPM with google ads was about $1.50. That alone is pretty low, but it I was happy with it. I get about 8500 impressions per day. But starting in March and April and now even into may, my eCPM has gone through the floor. Traffic continues to grow monthly as it always has, yet my eCPM is now well below a dollar around $0.50. This is too low. My site is pretty striaght forward, just a single google ad on each page, and the rest of each page is some sort of tool (except the home page which has lots of afillilate links too). Does anyone have any suggestions? I know a site that gets this kind of traffic should be making LOTS more money. But I really don't want to have to trick people into clicking my ads by disguising them as real links. Or, is there an alternate company I should look into. One that handles low volume sites like mine but can get me at least into the ballpark of $2 CPM?
