goodpilot.net and Looksmart

Has anyone heard of goodpilot.net, and are they an affiliate of looksmart.com. My clickthroughs at looksmart have gone from 20 to 210 a day overnight and it looks like the additional clickthrough are coming from goodpilot.

Most likely it's just another site trying to make money with crappy traffic. How are conversions (any?)

No conversions, less them 2 seconds spent on our website per clickthrough. I found out that goodpilot.net is an affiliate of lookquick.com who is a partner of looksmart.com. I spoke with an account rep. at looksmart and they moved our account into a area with more filtering which should fix the problem. They also credited our account for some of the money spent on the fraudulent clicks.

Let me understand this correctly.

They are moving your site "into a area with more filtering".

What about the rest of the advertisers at Looksmart? Are these suckers in the area with"less filtering" because they aren't smart enough to complain?

I wouldn't give your money to these crooks let alone my own.

I agree with tropical island.

The rep is basically saying " Oh you know that we are scamming you, so lets change the program to an area that you are scammed less in"

Mind you though thats why they have zero advertisers. Their quality is bad. Funny how half of the sites that they had as referrals shows sites that take 10 seconds to load the home page ( 20 seconds to produce search results). Who would search with such slow results.

On top of that a who is lookup shows most of them owed by people in India and China. Great US traffic coming from there? NOT!
