Opera 8.02 will have BitTorrent built-in

I was just perusing the Opera beta forums and it seems that the next version will have a basic BitTorrent client built in. I wonder whether this will catch on with other browsers or whether it will lend a bit more legitimacy to BitTorrent as a file transfer medium.

I caught that too - verrrrry interesting. For the intrepid explorers among us who want to check it out early on, there is a technical preview of Opera 8.02 available from their public ftp site:

Firefox should have this [bugzilla.mozilla.org] by 2.0 - someone's being sponsored by Google to do this as a summer project.
